If anything, I think the fact that there are any scenes in this show that pass the Bechdel Test at all is a huge achievement, considering there were so few women in the books at all. Hudson has a shady past! I only bring it up because I thought it was interesting and it made me consider the show in a new way. I know a lot of people think Moffatt is a misogynist, but you can tell they are really trying to make well-rounded women for this show. Even so, I would never say this show is anti-feminist. I just thought it was interesting that in 9 hour and a half episodes, there are only three times that female characters talk directly to each other, and in two of the three times, they are talking about Sherlock. I love the female characters Mofftiss have brought in / fleshed out to breath life into this show. I was not in any way saying that I think Sherlock is anti-feminist. That said, we do have characters like Molly and Janine now in the storyline, so perhaps in S4 the Bechdel test will be passed. With the exception of Molly Hooper, the writers have shied away from conjuring up brand new characters and plot lines that were not even tangentially in the original Holmes stories, and said stories were populated by - for the most part - male characters.
